Let’s get Community Pride jumpin with Black, brown, & queer DJs playing tracks from club to techno to disco and more with a.s.l.princess & noided.v from Cbus and fana & adab from Cleveland! (This is our only 18+ event)


Tues, June 5: MAJOR! Film Screening & Panel

Location & Time: Columbus State Community College–Delaware Hall, 6pm-9pm, all ages

Come out for a community screening of the the award-winning documentary MAJOR!, which chronicles the life-long activism of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy. The film will be followed by a panel discussion, featuring SPECIAL GUEST Miss Major herself via Skype.


Thurs, June 7: Black, Brown, & ONYX zine release & cookout

Location & Time: 934 Gallery (934 Cleveland Ave), 6-9pm, all ages

Featuring visual and written art from queer and trans people of color in Ohio, ONYX is about and created in honor of taking pride in ourselves. Come for free copies of ONYX along with an outdoor family cookout and open mic!


Monday, June 11: Marsha P. Johnson Day

Location & Time: Vanderelli Room (218 McDowell St), 6-8pm, all ages

Know her name but not her legacy? Don’t know Marsha P. at all? Come learn about and celebrate one of the major leaders in the fight for trans liberation with a community art collage, a timeline of Marsha P.’s life, flower crown crafting, and a group discussion on how we can continue her legacy. Food provided.


Saturday, June 16: Community Pride Festival

Location & Time: Mayme Moore Park (240 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd), 11am-7pm, all ages

Join us for a day of celebration, creativity, and joy. There will be performances and visual art by queer and trans artists of color, a community resource fair, outdoor activities for children (and the young at heart), POC-owned food trucks, and much more! You really won’t wanna miss this.
